EAPB Forum: 2002/8

The EAPB is the only European society solely devoted to Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. EAPB with presently more than 800 members represents companies, scientific institutions and scientists with activities in this area of Biotechnology. Especially the co-operations with the EFB and the European regulatory organizations MEGRA and PEFRAS will contribute to achieving the aims of EABP.

EAPB was founded in April 2000, it is the only European association specifically devoted to Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. It represents also the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB) for this area,in the regulatory field an exclusive cooperation was agreed with the Mid-European Group of Regulatory Affairs Professionals (MEGRA). EAPB is official cooperation partner of the biotechnology group of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS). Members of EAPB are individuals, i. e.scientists working in the area of pharmaceutical biotechnology, and companies as corporate members.
